SDMOC are proud to announce the Mourne-to-Carlow™ run!

You've all heard of the Monte Carlo - well now its time for the Mourne-to-Carlow™ run, courtesy of SDMOC!

Plans are afoot for a run leaving the Mournes and ending up in Carlow. The event will take place over a few days and we hope to organise it for June 2007. Further details will be released as and when we know them.

We're just giving you plenty of advance notice so you can all get your minis in order, after all, we wouldn't want anyone to be unfairly disqualified!

Any help from anyone in the Carlow area would be great.The run is going to be for a charity and it would be great to meet up with some of you guys
on that weekend.

Most of the people in our club are from County Down and one of the boys comes from Newcastle where the Mourne mountains are it was him who came up with the name for the run. Mourne to Carlow it just sounds like MonteCarlo so we got it trademarked and hope to make it an annual event if this one goes ok.

We done the road book for the run out yesterday and got some good roads for the Minis.Carlow is a pretty busy place on a Sunday.
We got 20 of us booked in to the Port Talbot Hotel anyone know anywhere else b+bs any help will be gratefully excepted.

Hopefully we can meet up with some of you along the road on the day and have a Mini convoy.

20 people at the minute who are going on the run.Hopefully on the day we will have about 10 or 15 Minis thats if everyone who said they will go actually do go.
