Really enjoyable nights fun , Alex did a brilliant job as usual even though there were times I heard a few People threatening do 'painful' limb removal from Him because of the questions ol: ol: . again another event well attended and the Oriel again proved to be the brilliant venue it is .

We had 17 tables at the quiz and those that were there seemed (I think) to have had an enjoyable night's entertainment. Thanks to those who participated and those who donated prizes. Thanks to the management and staff of 'Oriel House Hotel' for their help and co-operation on the night and for the prizes they gave. Thanks as well to those who worked hard with collecting, marking and tallying the answer sheets and to our raffle ticket sellers. We have a pictorial record of the night already on this thread, thanks Peter excellent as always.
As was stated on the night we, as a club, have started a charity fund. We will use this fund to support various children's charities and needs.
You will be glad to know that the night realized the princely sum of €609.00.
