Fair play to Mr. and Mrs. Ring and to Kevin and Marie and family for putting on such a spread, loads of food for everyone and at a big expense aswell, there was just over 60 people there inc. kids and we hardly put a dent in the food. It was a fantastic day out for everyone old and young and really well supported too. Considering we were missing 6 or 7 regulars, it would have pushed the total to over 30 cars which would have been some achievement at our first St. Patricks Day Parade.Obviously word of the club is spreading fast with all the newbies that had traveled for the day and signed up as members and I think 1 or 2 of them have signed up for M.T.I. aswell so that is grate news. They really enjoyed there day and told me afterwards how they felt that they had been members for ages, and that everyone was so friendly to them, so well done all. I enjoyed the run after aswell, fab reaction from passerbys and the people on the street in the towns and villages as we passed along our way. The highlight for me was seeing an old couple about 65ish standing on the street in Fermoy enjoying the sunshine and when the minis passed he turned to her and asked if she remembered the mini they used to have? Her answer was How could I forget as she put her arm around him and gave him a little kiss on the cheak. Obviously we had brought memories flooding back there.
