MLNI - Rolling Road, Antrim 21/4/07

Postby Step_7 » Sun Apr 22, 2007 8:26 pm

Well, MLNI (Mini Lovers Northern Ireland) held their second annual Rolling Road at Roddys Country Garage near Ballmoney watched over by Steven Gault who knows a few things about an A-series engine.... (And the Vtec as it happens!) Here's the pictures of the cars, BBQ and a wee run we did afterwards. Miniworld were in attendance so you'll see us all in the Magazine in the future sometime!

Yeah, nice spread of cars from standard 998 at 45 bhp all the way to the 1600 VTEC at 159!! What a geat sound it makes although the Mk1 replica sounded almost as good and he had 80. My standard MPi was probably the quietest car there and it knocked out 67.8 almost exactly the same as last year! Really will have to modify something for next year.

Yeah, my gearbox really has to get overhauled this winter and I can't help myself thinking that while the engine is out anyway it would be foolish not to slip in a SW5i cam just to pick up a few extra horses. I know it would be all downhill from there!

I'd never heard of VmaxScart until I saw your mods - now I want a Supercharger kit.... ;)
