MINI in the Garden

Just got this through the Submissions section, normally I'd never post an event that was limited to Classics only, as we're a non-ageist Club, but this is for a good cause :

We want 100+ Classic Minis on July 1st 2007, to raise money for the Northern Ireland Hospice and Children's Service.

BARBEQUE INCLUDED (Best you'll eat this summer!)

There will be prizes for:

*Most Original Car
*Furthest Travelled
*Best Exhaust Note
*Car of the Day
*Quiz Winners

Entry: 5 pounds per car + driver
1 pound per extra passenger

Venue: 1 Everglades, Clare Road. Ballycastle. Co. Antrim

Last Year we raised 700 pounds and this year, with your help we would like to improve upon that figure.

As far as I know its not actually limited to Classics - the guy organising it has a MINI as well as quite a few Minis. The original idea last year was to fit 100 cars into his garden so it was really a logistical consideration as it is a big garden but not that big!

I'm sure if you ring Michael and ask him he might allow the odd MINI to sneak in the back.....
