Your Avatar has to be be 80 x 80 and less than 14 kb in size.
If you have 'Irfanview' it is quite easy to make your photo that size.
Then upload it to photobucket and follow the steps in 'Your info'

Open Irfanview.
Click left icon-'Open'
Find your photo and select it.
Then click 'Image'-3rd front the left at the top of the screen.
Click 'Resize/Resample.
In the box that pops up, go to 'Set new size' and enter in 'Width' 80.
The other figure across from it should alter to 80 or less.
If it does, click the 'Save as' icon and save to your computer.
Job done.
Just upload to photobucket and copy the 'Direct link' and paste into the section in 'Your info' on this site.

Never realised you could resize on photobucket till now!
You learn something new everyday.
It should work for you if you copy the 'Direct link' link and
paste it into the space in 'Your info'.

The coding might have changed from photobucket, thats what usually happens. Try copy and pasting the new code from photobucket and that should work. If not, then i can host the image on my essentialmini webspace of that makes it easier for you :)

What flag did you want to change to hun ? Will that not work for you either? Just checked my flags and it seems to change ok
