cant use my own avatar?

sorry to be a pain but i just cant seem to upload my avatar any which way i try,
its within the 80x80 pixels, its in jpg format, or gif aswell,
but everytime i try it just comes back telling me i cant for one of those reasons,
the one time it said that it did go through it lied!,

can anyone help me please?

No they don't, quite a few people have custom Avatars, Alvin included. It would be a phenomenal help if people would read the Forum Manual (It's up the top where it says Forum FAQ) to save me answering the same questions over and over again.

The image is stored on my PC,
ive used it on almost all the other forums that i'm a member of,
ive tried hosting the image on my homepage and going from there but still nothing

this is the image i'm trying to use

its quite large like this but as you can probably tell by the pixels its been blown up to suit from my home page,

if you can help in any way it would be appreciated

Macker, you need to store the avatar online somwhere mate. Use photobucket or something similar.

That make me look thick......anyway no matter what I do I can't seem to get up my new avater :cry:
