Was 8, then 9, then 10, now 11000 posts

I just noticed We passed forum 8000posts Tonight , bearing in mind We are only a newly formed club only 8 Months old that is amazing , in that time the moderators have only had to delete 3 posts for 'non member' advertising and NO posts had to be removed due to any derogatory or abusive comments , the friendly nature of the forum has seen us through a long Winter and I know everyone is looking forward to the next 8000 posts and a long good Summer of driving and social events for ALL Mini and MINI owners .

9000 + posts in such a short time , brilliant , and as far as I am concerned the important thing about the Forum is the friendly nature of the chat as well the willingness of everyone to give advice and a warm welcome to any new Members , We made a decision early on in the Clubs planning period to moderate the Forums heavily and not allow any 'whinging' and 'bitching' and also not allow the For sale section be hijacked By wasters just using the facility with no interest in the Club just their own benefit . this has worked well and in fact We only had to 'remove' 2 or 3 inappropriate posts and NONE of an offensive nature . this is a testament to all the 'genuine' enthusiastic People We have on here , so well done everyone and heres to the next landmark 10000 posts .
