Heard a story yesterday about a chap who bought a mini plastic 3 clock souround of e-bay . He thought he got a bargain at 99 pence , however when he checked the post and packing came to 25.00 stg .How could this be??,, he thought since it only weighed 0.25 k/grams and measured approx 250mmx 140x28.
He questioned it with the seller who stood his ground by saying that was the P&P he had set at the time of Auction so he must accept it , this he did but not before checking Parcel Force website to find that the P&P was the max possible charge to ireland with air delivery within three days.. min international standard was £7.90
The item was delivered with the three days , but was also in a box which measured 600mm x300x 30 (which is twice the size ?) and 0.25k/ grams weight. he is still scratching his head trying to figure was this some sort of con job ??.....

Moral of the story no matter what kind of bargain you think your getting
on E-bay alwas check the Post and Package to your door .

It's a popular way of advertising on Ebay!!
Always check the postage rates.

This is not a scam against the buyer, rather a scam against Ebay as the sellers fees are based on a percentage of the final price. Any % of 99p is gonna be a damm sight less that a % of £26!;)

If the selling price is reallt realy low then this should trigger you to check the P&P as this usually covers the cost of the item!;)

I think they were hoping to 'cash in ' on the Simpsons movie premier and hype but it did not work , brilliant graphics / airbrushwork though .
