today ( while Nicky was in York ) Will, Eddie and I went to Thirsk for some excellent Fish and Chips, and then they wanted Ice Cream....... so I came up with a cunning plan to take them to Rosedale via the infamous Blakey Ridge......

Isn't Yorkshire the home of Fish and Chips , Harry Ramsden started in Guiseley I think , and the seaside Town 'chippers' are legendary , is that still the case ?

Harry Ramsden now lives on the Sandbank in Dorset

the Magpie in Whitby is also considered to be one of the best too.... 8)

the White Horse Cafe in Thirsk was very good too today

the ride up Blakey Ridge was the first time I'd taken the Clubman and it went very well too....
