Ain't it good to be back home again.........!

Postby Derfinn » Sun Nov 23, 2008 8:40 pm

Finally, after weeks of bad luck, scouting through the Golden Pages, and pure meance with the insurance companies......we have finally moved back into our home.

When we left to go on our holidays (1st Sept), last night was the first night we officially got to move back in, after our little trouble with the pipe work!!!

It is just great to be home. Will post up a few before and after pictures, when I find the camera! I'm very happy with the way the apartment has turned out, we were planning to do the place up next year! So it's nice to get it all done now!

There were a few frayed nerves with the running up and down the stairs. But it's just so good to be home!

Oh yeah....the bad luck continued yesterday. We had to run up and down the stairs. The lift in the block broke yesterday morning at 9am! Just as we preparing our first load!!!!

Nice one Derek, our house was gutted by water when I was a kid. With fire you can see the damage, but with water, it's a nightmare!

Cheers folks!
It's such a relief to be able to put key in the door and enjoy our own home!

Mitsey has settled back in much quicker than I thought she would. She was constantly in the windows, so I was thinking she'd miss the view!
