Restaurants near Rochestown.

Postby Derfinn » Sun Feb 22, 2009 11:02 pm

This is going to be a whirlwind week.

Off on annual leave, and was supposed to have a friend and her husband visit from Yorkshire.

But, due to unforeseen circumstances, we'll be meeting up on Tuesday in Cork.

Now, I'm open to your suggestions on a nice eatery in the area.

Thanks guys.

I have to say I’m a fan of Ecos Restaurant Douglas Village 021 4892522.

Great food and fantastic home made deserts, one thing to watch for Is the seating can be a little crammed...

Plenty of options to look at on Buzz http://www.thebuzz.ie/index.php?option= ... %20Douglas

Thanks again for all the suggestions.

Back home after another whistle stop 24hr trip to Cork.
We did a reccie yesterday around a few, and booked into ECO last night (it was the dessert display cabinet that sealed the deal! :king: )

What a great restaurant! Brilliant atmosphere, lovely attentive friendly service, brilliant food and great value!
We were fierce lucky to have booked it, the place was jammers last night..... :1icon_cool:
