AVG from Grisoft is actually quite insecure. Try avast, from avast.com!

I dont use any of the free ones - I've just heard that AVG is one of the best free ones. Havent read many complaints about security either.

I never paid for Avast , they must have a 'special ' type of software for your type of Virus Alvin .

No, whatever Avast site I go into from gooogle there is a monthly fee.

There's two versions of Avast, free, and commercial. Just do a search for it on the site. You'll find it.
