What a day..................

Postby MiniMpi » Fri Apr 24, 2009 7:19 pm

What a Day!!!!!!
Got my R56 Cooper S calipers with JCW disc's (big brake setup) on my R53 S today = High point of my day:)
MEGA LOW POINT = Knocking down my Dad at the entrance to the house while reversing my brothers Clubby in the drive...................:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Thankfully he is okay, nothing broken........ but badly bruised , his knee's especially.......
He was out at the gate waving good bye to friends of his, i was reversing in the Clubby from the road, He bent down to pick up some rubbish at the gate at the same time i looked to see if he was out of the way.....i swung in the entrance fast as very busy road by my house, you get one go at it, and stuck him and blew him to the ground........:(
So upset at myself.........................gutted....

That's awful Ferg.

The pair of you must have gotten som eawful shock.

Sounds as if it could have been a lot worse, so thankfully it's just a few bruises.
Jeez, though, these things can happen so easily.

Good luck with the new job Oliver! Glad to hear you've got something.

BTW how is your car? Hope the trouble you are having is nothing too serious.

The car is getting there. 2 new tyres going on shortly and the dealer has some parts ordered to help with all the lights in the dash.

So sorry to hear about your dad Ferg, both of you must have gotten an awful fright. Hope both of you are over the worst of it. There's never a dull moment, definitely someone was looking down on you both.

Oliver- Well done and long may it last! :wav:
