MINI Owner coming to Ireland!

Hello Everyone!!

My boyfriend and me (both MINI Owners!) are coming to Ireland the end of August for vacation! Although a little sad that we wont be able to drive our cars we are so excited since this is our first trip to Ireland.

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for great roads to drive, places to eat, things to do or Bed and Breakfasts to stay at (perhaps a MINI owner out there owns a B&B?)

We are flying into Shannon and spending the 1st 2 days in Galway, then driving down to Waterford area for 2 days and then to Dublin then flying home from there.

Any suggestions would be loved!

For Galway the 12 hotel in Barna is nice, just outside the city. You have connemara to the North and Clare/the Burren to the south, both offer great roads and scenery.
