:) Hi to all the "Corkonians" from Wexford man in Dublin :)
My little hot Chili Red Cooper S is having her maiden voyage this week end to your fair old city, starting from Swords bright and early tomorrow morning..Myself and the missus are going down to the mad south for an even madder weekend, i havent been looking forward to a weekend away as much in a long time,
We are staying in Jurys in the city, anyone got any recomendations for good hot spots for a few cold beverages?????

Well it depends what kinda establishment you are looking for... if you're looking for someone classy and modern... try Soho on Grand Parade, or Long Island Cocktail bar on Washington for a cosmo or two!! if you want to go somewhere a little more traditional, try Cantys, or Crane Lane.....there's usually a good band in the Crane Lane!
And if you want to go somewhere for a romantic meal... the Four Liars in Shandon is fantastic... they do amazing steaks... or the food is also very good upstairs in Soho!! Or if you can a drive, Fishy Fishy in Kinsale is the most excellent restaurant!!!
Hope this was helpful and enjoy the weekend!!

Screw the long island. Best cocktail bar is Suas. Ask anyone where Wagamamma is, and it's the staircase next to that. It's a rooftop bar with great views, good cocktails, and brilliant DJs.
