I think all of the above will ensure you don't end up with a license !! but don't worry you won't need one where you will be going !! :) seriously though its not a driving test really it is more a lottery , no Motorway driving tested , no night time testing , and reversing around a f*Cki*g corner ---when did you last have the lunatic tendency to do that ? safe driving is mostly based on observation and common sense BUT the test is based on outdated principles when there were about 4 cars on the road in Ireland  best advice is do a pre test over the various routes with a 'Local ' instructor the day of the test and usually these guys will know the 'traps' for the unwary , on the test don't be intimidated by the tester and keep focused on playing their silly game until you hear the words --"you have passed " then forget all you learned for the test and go and do a proper advanced and defensive driving course and really see what safe driving is all about .oh and btw best of luck on the day .

The don't cross your arms now, is because of the airbag. If you've got your arms crossed over the front of the wheel and you're in a smash that causes the airbag to go off it's going to hurt.

Unfortunately no , Sinead used Colm Branigan in Dublin , the course is based on the Metropolitan Police driving school program , Colm has come down to Cork to give some Members of the Club lessons and if several people are interested We can arrange this again .

What marks did you get against you?
Had you done the routes with an instructor from skibb before the test?

...tanx MB,,,but i dont kno what "bits" i failed (he failed me) on.
so,,, :1icon_arrow: i've had 16 cars and 1 van so far in my life,,,
and i've had 2 crashes in that time,,, one i hit black ice,,, the other, a car driven by a woman!!!,,lol.
my learner permit runs from 1996 to next week,,,
i've held a full New York driving licence and i've also driven in Holland, Spain, Belgium, and as i've lived in 12 counties in Ireland,,, all over this country.
and yesterday i had some clown telling me "i failed myself"!!!
But th worst part is that i wont try th test again for another 2 years :banghead: :banghead: ,,,and because i hav to wear an "L" badge i will act accordingly :1icon_twisted: !!!!
:1icon_exclaim: so stay th F--- outa my way :1icon_exclaim: ,,,lol lol .
(i even moved my "mini club of Ireland" sticker to my right rear window to keep it away from my "L" sticker)

The sheet he gave you at the end of the test should show what he marked you down on.
