Back to the land of the living

hey guys,

well its been a while! ive been off the site for a while now after poor old cooper s had the fire incident!! :1icon_evil: there will be an update on the cooper s rebirth shortly though. watch this space.

anyway it was replaced by a 09 BMW 116d. Im saving the environment and all that!! cracking car but i miss the whine everyday!!

Still have the old '71 850 in the garage though and itll be out again this summer.

ive been busy setting up my new business in dublin too over the last 3 months. Left the safe sanctury of my previous employer and im on my own now, so if anyone needs some good, friendly, mini inspired legal advice dont hesitate to give me a call or email. im specialising in the avoidance of penalty points for mini drivers!! Im also going to post up some discount information in the members section once i get my renewal sorted this week. there will be significant discounts for members of the club.

anyway its good to be back and hope ye are all doing well. :1icon_smile:

Will be looking forward to reading about the S Niall!

Fair play to you for crusading to save the planet! The 116d is a nice solid car isn't it.
One of the (many) courtesy cars was a 116d, and I really liked it. Probably because it was painted Dark Silver (Or Graphite as the y call it on the BMW side of the garage!) Anyway, well wear with it!
Was the VRT expensive on it?

And good luck with going out on your own. I really liking your specialty!
Probably will need to avail of your services at some point, so thanks for letting us know!

Bought it from Halliwell Jones in Chester. Top marks to them, very preofessional. the vrt was just over 3k. overall i saved about 5k on the same car here.
