Maybe not exactly a project..but she has had a serious rebuild of her bodywork this week!
The car as most of ye know was an excellent example and I maintained it since I got it in January 2005. But...Mini's are Mini's and eventually the years catch up on it and she had a few holes appearing here and there.
Ger took it in this week and I heard back that she was painted today :D :D :D
So I'll have her back on Friday and she will be mint
I'll post photos when I get it back.

Was it just treating the rust or was it a complete respray?

First ever breakdown for my Mpi the other day :( Not bad after 3 years of ownership and she is 9 years old as well

The black yoke is the fuel cut-out switch that triggers when you have an accident. Turned out to be faulty and died so no fuel for the Mpi.
Bypassed at the moment and part coming tomorrow. Worth checking this if you have a similar problem in the future as I assumed it was the expensive fuel pump was gone.
Hope this helps someone out
