If I was to buy a classic ...

Rebuilding a Mini? Building a rally car? Making a Z Car from the Ground Up? Well, create a thread here, and keep us updated. It's a great way to track your own progress as you go along, and keep yourself sane! If you own a car, you can show it off here too.

I have not mentioned the early minis ie perhaps the most collectible MK1 Cooper S etc as you will have to pay 'lunatic' money for a good one and a restoration will also cost mega €€€ to do correctly . Cabriolet is also a matter of personal taste , We already have 4 of the 248 made in the Club and expert opinion is that only about 160 are left so get a move on if you want one . a few years ago Top Gear tipped the RSP as the one to collect , watch out also for an RSP 'S' of which 78 were made by JC Garages .
Your top 3 are actually the ones that I would struggle to choose from and my classic when I do get one will most likely be one of those ;)

Its almost a year since we talked about this, but hopefully this weekend one of my top 3 mini's will be outside my house, thanks to some help from the main man ;)

An 'R.S.P.' is one of the first modern Mini Coopers released by Rover in the early '90's Siobhan.
Very nice and very rare Mini so sought after
