thank you all for the nice words!

minimpi - no shes not one of the 500 last made unfortunately, just a late sport

got a call from the insurance this morning, i dont haver to pay the excess on the crash total because of the long wait which is nice saving me a few euro!

hopefully shoudl have the car back from the repair shop on friday (but ive heard that a few times before) but fingers crossed all goes well this time!

ill post up pictures of her when i get her back, im hoping she'll look exactly the same (except for the grille which i made myself!)

cant wait to be honest ive been driving a diesel renault kangoo van for the last 4 weeks, its like a bus!

i need my mini fix!!

I love the classics. Unfortunately, I have the mechanical aptitude of a gnat on crack cocaine, which makes the warranty on a new MINI a necessity.

Now, if I win the lotto & can afford a certain reputable mechanic down Ballincollig way.... I'd have 1) a 2nd house in Ireland, 2) a classic in the drive here in California, 3) a classic in the garage in Ireland, and 4) that Ballincollig mechanic on retainer to maintain both cars (and teach me how to work on them)

Meanwhile, I'm gonna figure out a way to rob Ferg. :P :P :P

Ferg,

I have my ways. They involve wheel boots & magnetic locking petrol pumps. Be careful where you fill up -- the MPi may end up being put on "hold" for me. :P :P
