Maximum respect to the Guy for having the 'balls' to tackle a fabrication job like that , its a lot of work , bodywork and paint prep will be critical for a good result , keep us up to speed on His efforts , thats the kind of off the wall project I like to see here .

I prefer the old MK1 plain style mini's but that drawing at the end looks great, keeps us posted on progress Ken.

We have to get subfranes back in so we can move it to the other workshop where the rest of the fabrication can be done, All the sills, skirts and arches will be made by hand!.... get her ready for spraying which will be done by his brother @"Busta Stylin" then get the 1.1 engine back in, install the interior and so on.... Still a lot of work but well keep postin up the pics as things happen. hopefully it wont take too long. :bounce:

Ken NZJ followed by three digit registration number was first issued in February 1967.

NZJ preceded by three digit registration number was first issued in July 1980.
NZJ is a Dublin reg.

CSI Is a Dublin reg but the guide gives no year.

This comes from the Society of the Irish Motor Industries Guide to ages of vehicles.
Hope this helps.

Oliver.
