I would go with factory roof bars , always worried about alternatives doing damage to paintwork .does this mean you have forsaken the horsies ? lol

Yes thought factory but am not made of money, also am looking at curved ones if they do them?

As for Alvin, mm I think I remember him flying down the M50 with one large canoe strapped to the roof with inflatable bars, I shuddered & stayed well back!! ;)

Ok I'm strongly thinking roof rack, just know I want one now, advice needed, discounts & where we've got em would help greatly.

Of course pros & cons of roof rack especially with silver roof would help too!! Cheers

Now I want to get the pump thing that car cleaners use, they use the solution and pump it out of a container mainly for the wheels, think it's de-greaser.

I want to look at buying this container AND am looking for a brush/handled contraption to use on awkward areas say roof, any advice here please too. Cheers!

The 'pump thing' is available in any garden center , used to spray plants etc , most accessory shops sell wheel brushes . be careful using wheel cleaner as it WILL remove all your skin !!!!!!

Note : The bulge under the bracket,(in photo 1) in the rubber at the suicide door, not sure if this will or could cause problems, or whether it should be there in the first place, opinions welcome as always!

Ooh and before i forget, i think the roofrack is a little far up the car if you know what i mean, will post side pic in next few days so you can get a better idea of what i'm talking about. Cheers.

Looks great Siobhan and nice photo's :)
Maybe the roof bar is tightened too much where the bulge in the rubber is....i dunno but worth a check ;)
I think your Clubman looks much better with them on :)

Noted re bulge I'll get my technicians to check.

I agree, think they make the car now, didn't want to give into roof racks at first but so glad I did!! :) Cheers!
