Is it a factory BT or an aftermarket one? Sounds likely is still getting power without the ignition circuit being live, which in many cases would indicate the wiring is wrong.

Rarely have passengers in the back of my car so it's kept relatively clean. I do have a re- occurring problem. There seems to be a mould that re-appears between the back seats, where they would naturally divide if you were to put the seats down. It's a white colour & flat with no odour. I treat by using a leather wipe. Advice on its elimination would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried leather cleaner spray for example Autoglym?
If mouldy try some citrus cleaner maybe? Haven't seen this happen before, sorry.

Ew mould is yuck. We have it in our ensuite. To get rid of mould you need a specialised cleaner that can kill the spores otherwise it will keep coming back. I tried dettol anti mildew and mould it's a green container. I haven't tried this on material so be careful you don't bleach your seats. Whatever you use try on a bit of seat that is not visible first otherwise you will end up with white seats.

Also don't smell mould it's bad for you, so get rid asap, esp from the enclosed space of the car.
