But don't worry, just for these:

I think the saying measure 50 times then drill is more apt that measure twice...

I was totally bricking it. Also I don't really understand why BMW didn't just use a normal system of clipping around the guttering. God knows how you could fix things if you don't measure correctly or if the people that welded the mounting points had put them in the wrong place...

So I had a great morning so far today.

Driving down the A1 from Belfast at2:30 am, a wild horse appears. I managed to swerve around it, but didn't manage to correct the skid. A couple of spins and one central reservation later I catch the spin and pull into the hard shoulder.

Christine is a bit shaken and stiff. Im fine but sadly my mini isn't.. :'(

Waiting for the insurance company to decide if it's repairable.

Even sadder the horse ran off back down the road and was hit by another vehicle and died. I ddon't know if the people in that car are ok or not.

So Sorry to hear this today Michael & Christine.
At the end of the day, you are both okay and that really is the main thing ;)

As Ferg said, Michael, but yourself and Christine are okay.
Hopefully your MINI will be too, they are solid little cars. But the important thing is you are both safe.

Like the other guys said, it is most important you guys are OK, cars can be fixed or replaced.

Sad to hear about the horse though, hopefully it didn't suffer too badly.
