Sadly my limited edition alloy knob will only fit the R50/52/53 MINI as it is a different fitting :(

Sadly I haven't got rid of the dash rattle yet :(
But when I'm fitting my Parrot mki9200 Bluetooth & music system I'll have another go at getting rid of the rattle ;)

Enjoying the car a lot :) :)
Even though some would say to drive it with the Sport button on all the time, I enjoy pushing it when I come to a nice twisty road section etc and its just amazing !! :D

I have a nice old rattle from my R56 dash too. How easy is it to take off the dash like you did? What did you do to quiet down the rattle? How long does it take? I might get around to it someday!

Not sure i'd have the patience to clean the engine bay as well as you did! :)

Hi there ;)

Sadly I wasn't successful in getting rid of the rattle :( And I tried twice.....!
Going to take it apart again at a later stage and use felt tape this time around the edges of the speedo cover and anywhere else I can find !!
I think it's about 6 torx screws in total, two are hidden under removable covers in the vent in the top of the dash, two behind each decorative dash panel. It's not too bad, first time takes about a half hour ;)

Picked up an eBay bargain of a brand new unused Genuine MINI Sport short aerial :)
Looks way better.

Also picked up an Aux to Aux lead, good quality gold fittings and nice and tidy to at 30cms so I can finally play my music through my iPhone again.
Works great and will do until I can get my Parrot mki9200 system.
