Ye nearly there now. :)

Hoping to have the springs fitted tomorrow and all going well the Exhaust fitted by the weekend. If it arrives on time.

I received my Forge BOV this morning, Its the sandwich type, bought it as it was used and cheap so if i dont like it its not a big loss.

Image

It only took 5 minutes to fit and so far does not seem much louder than the OEM BOV so ill leave it in for now.

The forge BOV is causing the car to go into limp mode when the traction control kicks in. So ill be removing that tomorrow.
Apparently it's a common problem, they worked on early models like my own if the software wasnt updated.

The prokit was fitted today.

It looks a lot better the pics don't really do it justice, its not slammed and there is still a gap but its as low as I wanted to go, and again it seems to be more comfortable than stock. I'm sure it will drop more once it settles in.

Oh any my exhaust was just delivered to work :)

Decided to build some ramps for the car, its been on the cards for a while so bit the bullet and made them today so it would be easier to fit the exhaust.

They worked out well and much more sturdy than axle stands and great that there was no jacking involved.

Image

So now the exhaust is fitted.
I love it, Really nice rumble from it when just cruzing and a lovely rasp under acceleration and pops and bangs and every time I let off the throttle :)

Ill try get a video of it tomorrow.

Very pretty looking system.
Looking forward to the video, already sure it won't help with my petrol longing.

Are you sure the noise is coming from the MiNI? I am pretty sure it was from the wee bike in the background :)

Small update,

I removed the black gloss wrap I had on the light rings, grills, and fuel cap and plastidipped them too, looks much better now at the gloss looked a little odd with the matt trim, much better finish too.

Image

Also plastidipped the door handles which came out well too.

Just to retint the rear lights and that's it for now.

Small update

I Fitted a set of LED DRL fog lights a few days ago.
Really happy with them, Great quality and really bright and loads of settings to play with.

They are fully bright when the lights are off and dim down when the lights are switched on.
They are very bright at night even in dim mode. Ill get a photo later at night.

BRIGHT/Lights off

There is an option to have the LEDs switch off when the fogs lights are switched on but at the moment i have it set up that both are on, does anyone know what way the NCT would be with that

You never know with the NCT people. But the side lights or "parking lights" (as the Americans would call them) are on even when you put the fogs on with the standard fogs. So I don't think it would matter.

Where did you get them?

Thats what i was thinking, sure if it fails it will just be a visual and only be a matter of connecting 1 cable.

There is a place called outmotoring in the US supplying them but I found them on ebay for €40 cheaper with postage.
They are insanely bright in the dark, im going to have to adjust them down so im not blinding people.
