Quick question its due a tyres soon maybe off santa...!!
Like to know what others are running... its currently on runflats and was thinking of going with Dunlop Sp all round as i here there good as runflats go...
Just put 2 new pirreli P zeros on my girlfriends cooper and there nice but v expensive, but to be fair the ones that were on before lasted for ever... pretty hard though.

Nice looking R56 , as regards tyres I have been using Michelin Pilot Supersport and am totally happy with the performance , wet weather grip is unreal as is wet braking , wear rate is good as well . I have used all the top tyre brands on my MINIs over the years and Michelin is by far the most impressive ,non runflat of course !!

Thanks Ferg, yeah really really happy with it.....
Always said I wouldn't buy a BMW mini but after driving my girlfriends one got used of the idea...!! Now I won't get out of it!!
looking at getting a jcw strut for her next... Bling up the engine bay..

G you might be able to help me... The dreaded engine management light keeps coming on... I gave it to kearys for 2 weeks and they changed every sensor going but it still came on... So then they checked all the wiring and found a bit of a crack so fixed that and it still came back.... :banghead: so then they decided that when the wiring got damaged , it caused a fault in the ecm and they would have to change the engine control module at HUGE expense but I wouldn't let them. It's driving 100% and I'm not down on power or anything so I'm not sure what to do.... Don't like the light on the dash though its annoying me looking at it......

Any ideas....??

There are several reasons the EML light could come on --- some simple , some complicated but none that can't be diagnosed ( I would doubt it is ECM unless a shortcircuit has caused damage to the ECM board ) I would be looking elsewhere , a decent diagnostic session will find the problem . give me a call on 086 8663828 and I am pretty sure we will be able to sort it .
