but I love it ...

2002 Mini One

Lot's of little things that need to get sorted out.
    Gear knob is doomed
    Handbreak button cover is shot
Driver's side vanity mirror needs to be replaced
Sun roof button needs a new clip
    Wheels need to go
    Some dents and scratches

Apart from these minor niggles inside was immaculate when I got it.

Going to gradually fix things up and maybe a few upgrades.

First thing that went within a week was the stock stereo, replaced with a JVC KD-R861BT. Handsfree, Bluetooth streaming, USB.

Hoping that Ger can sort me out with a set of alloys over the next few weeks.

Oh and the most important item of all:

Hi Vinny ,
Looks like a very straight clean MINI , The best and most impressive mod you can do to any MINI One is a remap , standard power is 90 bhp and we can get it to around 130 bhp and also lots more torque and amazingly usually over 10% improvement in fuel consumption . as regards wheels I personally would stick with 15" wheels and spend a few quid on very good quality tyres , the 15" pepperpot wheels are one of my favourites as they look good and are really light , some other small improvements are decent headlamp bulbs , perhaps 2 spotlamps . you appear to have the audio covered and again its amazing how good the standard speakers are when coupled to a good Head unit .the most important thing is enjoy your MINI and keep posting updates and photos here .oh btw make sure you change gear oil and brake fluid as these are often neglected and can cause problems if not dealt with .

Looks good ,the 15" pepeprpots are in my opinion one of the best MINI wheels , very light and with decent tyres offer very good grip and handling and of course a decent ride quality .

Totally changes the look of the car for the better.
As Ger said the pepperpots are a beautiful looking alloy.
Well done.

looks good! i love the pepperpots! nice and retro too!

A K&N panel air filter will make the car sound fantastic too! sometimes I think having a car with fewer bells and whistles makes you appreciate the drive more. Really miss my first MINI One :(
