You will see a big improvement due to wheel weight , S spokes are v/heavy and its 'unsprung' weight .

OZ Superturismo WRC. They're pretty shabby and needed two new tyres and one buckle fixed. Sold the old wheels for the same price as the new ones, but they're much, much lighter!

Sorry about the bad pictures. I'll probablly wrap/paint the white parts black. Chrome grill and headlight surrounds have to go also.

They look good and more important they are lighter . I will never understand why MINI made the S spoke wheel so heavy .

Recaro seats installed! Backrest of drivers seat has a bit of play in it so I'll have to sort that, but I love them! :D

Unfortunately, my car is going into limp mode now under hard acceleration. Feels like I'm driving it outside of boost to keep it happy. As soon as I put the foot down, it just cuts power and has to be restarted. The lights take a few hours to go off. I'm thinking bypass valve but not sure.

New bypass valve fitted last night. Problem sorted, stronger than ever.

15% pulley arrived this morning with new plugs and belt.

Car seems to have developed the "yoyo" symptoms since swapping the bypass valve. Not sure where to go from here as it's a brand new part and seemed to be fine. :S

Did the vacuum gain system last week and was a massive improvement. 15% pulley done this week. Bit of painting to do this weekend. Then I'll leave it for a while! Few bits left to do still though.

Make sure you get a decent remap with 15% pulley OR it may be no tops on the pistons !! and don't forget cooler spark plugs .

Turns out it was a broken seat frame/recliner mechanism.

Swapped it out with my original (non Recaro) seat back frame and it's perfect! They're a straight swap. Seems the only difference on the back of the seat is the foam/leather.

Colour coded the chrome grill surrounds too. I'm undecided as to what to do with the headlights, so I'll leave it for now.

Glad you got it sorted. My drivers side heated seat recaro is blowing the fuse. i wonder if the internals are the same if the seat mechanisms are the same?

I think the heated part is part of the foam, probably wouldn't be able to swap it over.

New rear brakes arriving tomorrow.

Trying to source a dark silver boot door with a white roof but can't find a good one anywhere. Looking for a JCW exhaust, isofix covers for the rear bench, heated seat wires/harness and the passenger door lock solenoid. Maybe the JCW bumper and grill too.
