If you have any problems Rob, my brother is actually a student down there and he's also one of the "powers that be" of the Diving club so he could be probably clear the way for us...plus he's actually into his photography in a big way and knows his stuff so would be glad to share some tips! I'll tell him about it.

I think We must progress this event , there are lots of Members interested in photographing their minis and any help from the pros would be welcome , anyone take on organising it

I have the pros organised, we just need a venue, date and time.

I would propose a week night , perhaps in about a Week or so , We can work on venue in the next few days , if we can get things going on this we can always expand and make it a bi-monthly or quarterly event that way We will get pics from all seasons .

An urban shot I found on Google.... its a Mini on Washington St... I Like it.... Notice the parking signs...

Lets progress this , Anyone know of suitable locations You know the thing ---old industrial or institutional buildings with decent access and no problems with being there to take pics ,post ideas here and We will do a recce in the next few days and try to get this sorted for next Week .

How about the refinery in Whitegate?...not sure about access but I think there might be a few spots outside the boundaries where we could get some good pictures with industrial stuff in the background....could check it out on Thursday cos it's not too far from where I live.

Sounds good Sarah , I think Ferg should know a bit about that place and advise on whether We would be 'escorted' from the locality .there is also an old military base further up the hill and we got a tour of it a few years ago might be worth looking at again .

We could also have "Minis at at Smuggler's Top"!!! There's lots of interesting little seaside villages between Roches Point and Ballycotton....Guileen is really nice...kind of a "Famous Five"-themed Mini adventure!! ol:
