I felt a draft the other night & looked at the window it was down a bit! Put it up, thought that was end of it. Today after washing and the interior getting a spray I seem to have a window misalignment!! You can see into the car when locked via the side. Also noticed the window doesn't go down a but when you open door or up when you close as standard! Any ideas?

Common problem Siobhan , its a software issue , you need to pop into your main dealer and install an update . We should also be able to do it from next week as we are waiting for the latest updates for our diagnostic / programing equipment .

Ah thanks for that!
Booked in for Thursday, so fingers crossed it sorts it. They say the software update solves 95% of the problem! Looking forward to getting it sorted, the draft is driving me mad!

Great news Siobhan, glad to hear it, and a good resource now to have on the forum if anyone googles for the problem too.

I've a problem with my driver's door too. It will lock using the remote but will not open. To open the door I have to use the key or else climb over the passenger seat and pull the handle on the inside. Any ideas on how to fix this? I've already tried the trusty WD40!

It sounds like the door lock motor sadly...
I know Ger has replaced quite alot of these recently on some R50/R53 models like your's.
Hopefully Ger will be on later to confirm this for you.
