Any feedback on this one ? https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/0 ... e/26962895

I have not seen the build date yet but I am hopeful its a "05" :D The seller said he got this car from someone in Dublin private sale. No service history :1icon_exclaim:

Anyway Let me know what you all think. Thanks

Hi there,

Take it as the car is still for sale you havnt bought it.

When you say you want to buy a 05/06, take it you mean R53 Facelift.
That one is not a facelift (even tho they have fitted a 3 spoke facelift steering wheel).

There are many guides online, to spot the difference.

Not sure Id be buying without service history, all the regular oil servicing, brake fluid, coolant.
But also the typical failures they all suffer,

Also, I would try and get a low as possibly with mileage.
Some fairly expensive maintenance should be done around the 100,000 mikes mark.
Supercharger service the key one, which leads to load of other "as you are there jobs" like water pump, thermostat, plenty of oil seals.

There dosnt seem to be a lot of R53s for sale at the moment, but worth keeping an eye out for the right one.
